It was noted that the bill (Reg. No. 2934-1) suggests amend the Law “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance Fee” by introducing since July 1, 2013 payment for an additional compulsory state pension insurance fee to the State Budget from the sum of purchase and sales transaction of cashless foreign currency per one hryvnya in the amount of 1 per cent from a taxation object.
The bill suggests amend the laws “On State Service”, “On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activity”, “On Prosecutor’s Office”, “On the Status and Social Protection of Citizens-Victims of Chornobyl Disaster”, “On the Status of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine”, and “On the Court System and the Status of Judges” in the part of determining retirement age and salary.
Generally upholding the concept of the bill, the Committee members made their remarks, saying that the bill requires additional justification in terms of consistency as well as a more comprehensive legislative improvement of retirement legislation.
